Waiting… “In Review”

Posted by: adam In: work

My first application that will (hopefully) be available on the iPhone and iPod Touch later this week is officially “In Review.” Apple accepts applications through a somewhat complicated process online and reviews them for who-knows-what. Hopefully to ensure that nothing malicious takes place in your application and more likely that it doesn’t show you extreme violence or nudity.

In case you haven’t heard me talking about it, the game is called Wordabble. It’s a tile-based word search game. You’re presented with a 5×5 grid of letters. You tap connecting letters to form words. Each letter has a point value and longer words are given a point multiplier.

Now that the game is in a “release” state — meaning it includes most of the must-have features, it’s easy to start to think of what to include in a future release. But, I think I’ll wait to see if there’s really any demand for an update.

I’ve contacted a lot of friends that have iPhones and made them swear to buy it… you know who you are :) I’ll be calling you the moment it’s for sale.

If you’re reading this and you have an iPhone or iPod Touch and I haven’t contacted you — let me know. I’d love to get your opinion on the game when it’s been released.

I’d love to check it out. Do you know how much you plan on selling it for??
